Dear Parmenter Community,

We had an incredible **final Open House** at Parmenter Elementary, filled with smiling faces and an undeniable buzz of excitement for the year ahead! It was heartwarming to see our students proudly show off their classrooms, eager to share their learning spaces with families. A huge thank you to the **PCC** and our amazing staff for all the preparation and hard work that went into making the evening so special. We're settling into the school year smoothly and ready to hit our stride as we move forward together!

Its time to sign up for the 2024-2025 directory. If you'd like your student to be included in the 24-25 Student Directory, please complete one form per student using the link below.
We will close the form on October 4th so we can publish the directory by mid-October.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office will be hosting a statewide, virtual presentation for parents on Wednesday, October 9th @ 6:30 pm. Please feel free to share this flyer with your local police departments, school administrators and community partners.

As we wrap up **Start with Hello Week**, we want to celebrate the amazing participation from everyone! Through the **Sandy Hook Promise Foundation**, our school embraced the power of inclusion, kindness, and connection. **Wear Green Wednesday** was a highlight, with students and staff proudly showing their support, and we captured some great moments in photos! Throughout the week, we took part in meaningful activities that brought our school community together and spread positivity. Thank you to everyone for making this week such a success!

Please know that cellphones and electronic devices such as smart watches must remain off and in students' backpacks during the school day. They are also not allowed on the school bus. Please review the district policy outlined here for more information.

The Parmenter PCC has various restaurant nights throughout the school year. Our first one is at the Chateau on Thursday 10/3. Use the flyer attached below when ordering lunch, dinner, or take out! The Chateau will donate back 20% of total sales!

Thank you to all who attended our virtual PCC meeting on Tuesday. As mentioned in the meeting, we have a few committees we are looking to fill! These are:
