DISMISSAL
To ensure a safe and efficient dismissal, please review the following reminders.
1. If you are picking up a 3rd/4th/5th grader, please wait to get in line until closer to pick up at 2:48 (1:34 PM on Wednesdays). We have many 1st/2nd grade families that have been unable to move through the pickup line to get their child because cars are parked in the pickup line waiting for upper grade students. If you have a student in both 1st/2nd grade AND a student in 3rd/4th/5th grade, please arrive closer to 2:45 or come early and park at the park to walk up and wait.
2. Red curbs around our school/facility need to stay clear of vehicles at all times for safety reasons. These areas are designated as no-parking zones to ensure emergency vehicle access and maintain clear sightlines. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe!
3. Please do not get out of your car or park and leave your car in the car line when dropping off or picking up your student. This blocks traffic and creates a major backup.
4. Always pull forward. Keep going forward until you reach the end of the driveway or the car in front of you!
5. Please have student name plate(s) displayed so staff can help get students to your car with efficiency.
6. Parent Waiting Zones: Please either wait by the marquee/front office or wait by the stop sign to pick up your 1st-5th grader. Do NOT stand in front of the front green fence, as this is where teachers will line up students so that they can see you either standing or driving up for pick up. TK and Kindergarten should meet their child at the classroom door.
7. HAVE A PLAN!! Let your child know the plan for pick-up in the morning. If it changes, please let your child's teacher know before 11:30 AM OR call the office.
Hoping to make the pick-up line a smoother, more efficient process for all families. Click HERE to review our bell schedule. Thank you for your help with this!
School & Family Engagement
The following items will be reviewed at our first School Site Council (SSC) and Title 1 Information Meeting for any feedback. I have included the links below for review.
