🔊Important Arrival/Dismissal Update⭐
Beginning on TOMORROW Monday, December 22, we will be shifting back to our regular student arrival and dismissal area on North 4th Avenue. Please review the following important updates and reminders:
Our playground gate now wraps around the corner of the building on North 4th Avenue.
We previously had two staircases leading down to the sidewalk; we now have one, slightly larger staircase.
Arrival Information
Student arrival begins at 8:25 AM for Safety Patrol and breakfast.
All other students should arrive at 8:35 AM.
The Drop & Go Zone remains on North 4th Avenue (school side). Please note that this is a NO PARKING ZONE.
If you need to park and wait, please use the gravel lot between North 3rd Avenue and North 4th Avenue.
The accessible entrance/exit is located on North 3rd Avenue.
Arrival doors will close promptly at 8:45 AM. Students arriving after this time will be marked late.
Dismissal Information
Dismissal takes place between 3:10–3:20 PM.
Students will be dismissed by their teacher from the blacktop area, with homeroom cones set up.
All parents/guardians must remain on the sidewalk and use the crosswalk at all times.
Students will be dismissed once a parent/guardian is seen by staff.
Please note that no one should be blocking or waiting in the roadway.
Families may wait on either sidewalk on North 4th Avenue (school side or gravel parking lot side). Waiting on the gravel lot side may help reduce crowding on the school-side sidewalk.
Once staff see you, students will walk down the steps and across the crosswalk to meet you.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we transition back to our regular arrival and dismissal area.
