Attendance Policy Reminder
As we continue to move through our academic year, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of arriving at school on time. Punctuality plays a key role in the success of our students and the smooth operation of our school.
Arriving on time not only ensures that students don’t miss out on vital learning opportunities, but it also helps them develop essential life skills like responsibility and time management. When students arrive late, they often feel rushed, which can affect their ability to focus and engage in the day’s lessons from the very beginning.
For our students, being punctual means:
Starting the school day with a positive mindset.
Participating fully in all activities and classroom discussions.
Making the most of their educational experience.
Being in their classroom at 7:25
For our parents/guardians, helping your child arrive on time fosters an understanding of the importance of respecting others' time and sets a strong foundation for habits that will benefit them well beyond their school years.
We kindly ask for your support in ensuring your child arrives at school on time. If there are any challenges or concerns preventing timely arrivals, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so that we can work together to find a solution.
As a reminder, here is an excerpt of our tardy policy located on page 56 of the Carver Student Handbook.
If you or your student has any questions or concerns please reach out to your students Assistant Principal via email:

High School - Sean McInnis
