Preparing for Reaccreditation Preparing for Reaccreditation

It is time for our district to participate in the reaccreditation process. This process occurs every five years. Our review is scheduled for February 7-11, 2021. Unlike years before, this review will be conducted remotely. A team of five to six educators will analyze evidence that we submit, analyze data from classroom observations that we have conducted in-house and gather information from interviews (held via Zoom) in order to rate our school system based on performance standards.

The standards are focused on three domains:

  • Leadership Capacity
  • Learning Capacity
  • Resource Capacity

Below you will find a link to access the standards and the levels within the standards that will be used for the analysis. Over the last five years, we have collected evidence and enhanced our processes to ensure greater organizational effectiveness. As you know, Coweta is focused on continuous improvement. We look forward to the feedback from the Cognia review team as we continue our journey to empower our students and staff.
