Grades 9, 10 and 11 Student Registration for 2026-2027 School Year
Dear Parents of Current 9th, 10th and 11th Graders:
Greetings from Eagan High School! The purpose of this message is to provide you with relevant information and timelines related to our “online” registration process for next school year. The registration process will allow you and your students to have access to course information online and register online at home.
The following timeline is planned as it relates to the registration process for next school year for students currently in grades 9-11.
Starting January 12
Feel free to start scanning the various EHS curricular offerings for your student. The EHS Student Registration Guide is online on the EHS website: Online Registration
You may search for courses by department or by name, in alphabetical order. Simply go to the EHS web site and click on Menu in the upper right hand corner. Then click the + next to Academics and then click Online Registration, finally click Registration Guide. Under Online Registration you can also find Online Registration Instructions and Registration Cards by Grade Level.
January 28-February 5
Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders will meet in their PAWS classes on January 28 to receive information and instructions related to the “online” registration process. With parental guidance, students may register online during this “open window” period of time. All instructions will be provided in PAWS on January 28. Our intention is to have all of next year’s students at Eagan High School register online. We expect each student, with parental knowledge and guidance, to be able to access the internet and complete the process.
If you have questions, please feel to contacts your student’s counselor at 651-683-6921 or send them an email.

Dakota Valley Choral Festival
This Sunday marks the 48th annual Dakota Valley Choral Festival—one of our district’s longest-standing and most inspiring traditions!
The Dakota Valley Choral Festival brings together the Concert Choirs from all four district high schools—Eagan, Eastview, Apple Valley, and Rosemount. Each choir will perform two selections on its own, followed by three combined works: Mozart’s Regina Coeli, We Are the Voices, and Sisi Ni Moja. The massed choir will be joined by a professional chamber orchestra, conducted by Dr. Michael Culloton of Concordia College–Moorhead.
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. this Sunday in the Eastview Gym, and the performance will last approximately 90 minutes.
If you’re looking for a pause from the chaos, stress, and sadness of the world around us, this evening offers an opportunity to be immersed in joy and beauty. Imagine our students—our future leaders—setting aside their differences to embrace the power of making music together, spreading hope, peace, and joy one note at a time.
If you would like to attend, you can purchase tickets here: https://gofan.co/event/5761939?schoolId=MN9763

Minnesota Wild's Goalie Visits EHS!
Last Wednesday, we were thrilled to welcome a special visitor from the Minnesota Wild Hockey team! Filip Gustavsson, goalie for the Wild, joined us as the guest anchor for the Polar Bear Bingo Eagan AM show.
Gus teamed up with math teacher Jennifer Martin to call bingo numbers and share a few laughs during our live show. He was a great sport, brought lots of energy, and did an amazing job engaging with our students throughout the broadcast.
We loved having him as part of our school community and appreciate him taking the time to visit. Thank you, Gus! You can watch the show HERE.
Winter Blast Week Wrap-up
Winter Blast Week at EHS wrapped up today after a week full of fun, creativity, and school spirit that brought our school community together. Dress-up days gave students and staff the chance to show off their creativity and Wildcat pride throughout the week.
Polar Bear Bingo added some friendly competition during PAWS, as students eagerly marked their cards for a chance to win candy prizes. We even had a celebrity bingo caller,
Filip Gustavsson, the goalie from the Minnesota Wild!
The Night of Tournaments featured a variety of games and sports, allowing participants to showcase their skills, enjoy healthy rivalry, and compete for prizes.
The Medallion Hunt has been going on all week and was found Thursday morning before school. The winners were rewarded with a $50 lunch gift card and $100 gift card!
We concluded Friday with a first ever Student vs Staff basketball game/pepfest.
Thank you to all the students and staff who helped make Winter Blast Week a huge success!
Award Winning Art at EHS!

Pre-Planned Absence Procedure
Attendance Reminder:
Students absent 3 or more days for a pre-planned absence should complete the “Pre-Planned Authorization” form.
The forms are located in the EHS Attendance Office.
- The form should be completed and submitted prior to the planned absence. We recommend at least one week or more in advance.
- The student is responsible for arranging make-up assignments with all teachers before the absence to receive credit for the work.
- Vacation absences beyond 5 days will be marked as unexcused. These absences will count in the excessive absence policy.
College and University Visits
Students and parents should plan to visit college/university campuses on non-school days or outside of school hours. If this is not possible and students will be absent three or more school days, a Pre-Planned Authorization Form must be filled out, signed and authorized prior to the absence. If this process is followed, the absence will be verified. Forms are available in the attendance office.
