Principal Turnaround Academy - January 28th - Highland Gardens Elementary

As we prepare for our next Principals Turnaround Academy on January 28, 2025, at Highland Gardens Elementary, just a gentle reminder for schools to bring their completed data protocol and state report card analysis. The focused efforts on conducting data meetings with teacher teams and completing a thorough State Report Card Analysis will set the stage for meaningful collaboration and actionable strategies. Your commitment to these tasks demonstrates a steadfast dedication to improving outcomes for all students. We look forward to an engaging and impactful session where we’ll build on this work to drive sustainable school improvement.

Items to bring to our meeting:

  • Mid-Year Data Analysis Protocol: Collaborate with faculty in November and December to analyze student performance and identify necessary adjustments to schedules, supports, and professional development.
  • State Report Card Analysis: Review and discuss findings with your teams to guide next steps.
  • Attendance Tracker: Update attendance data through January, identifying students with 12 or more absences and planning targeted interventions.

Keep up the excellent momentum, and thank you for your leadership!
