Panorama Survey for Staff - 100% Anonymous
The fall Panorama Staff Climate, Culture & Well-being Survey launches next week. This survey offers our staff a valuable opportunity to share feedback about their professional experiences in GISD.
Survey Details:
• Survey Date: September 16, 2024 - September 27, 2024
• Survey Anonymity: Employees' responses are anonymous.
• Data Collection: Panorama will collect the data, remove all identifying information, and create a report for us.
• Notification: Employees will receive an email from Panorama with a unique code to ensure each submits only one response.
In Fall 2023, we used data from the Panorama survey to set goals for each campus and department. The feedback gathered gave us insights that we can use to enhance the district experience for our staff. This new round of data will guide us toward meeting the goals we set in the fall.

Progress Monitoring
Progress monitoring is an important step in determining the effectiveness of instruction and interventions and should be regularly monitored by the classroom teacher or interventionist. The District Progress Monitoring Schedule states progress monitoring windows, which should be used for K-5 Tier 2 students in reading and Dyslexia students in reading. Tier 3 students in reading should be progress monitored in accordance with their mCLASS Burst lessons.
Additionally, K-2 students scoring at the 40th percentile on MAP reading and/or are below and well below benchmark on mClass should receive progress monitoring in mCLASS using the same schedule.
The Elementary Reading, Math, and Newcomer Intervention document indicates the assessments to be used for measuring reading and math proficiency and MTSS progress monitoring for general education and Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Campus support teachers and interventionists will be able to help teachers with best practices in progress monitoring. Interventionists can also provide support for appropriate documentation.
