Mr. Prez's Weekly News
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It's hard to believe it's already October! We have just over two weeks left in the first quarter of the school year. Encourage your students to keep taking responsibility, offering kindness, and persevering!
A few highlights from this week...
๐The Biblioburro AND the Chardon Library's Bookmobile came to visit our first graders!
๐ธ Picture day was a big success - we saw lots of great smiles! *Picture retakes will be on October 28.
๐ Second grade took a fun field trip to the Holden Arboretum! What great timing, with the leaves beginning to change.
Coming up next week...
๐ We have our first big all-school assembly on Tuesday with Jim "Basketball" Jones! I can almost guarantee your students will come home talking about it!
๐ผ The PTO is hosting a skating party at United Skates in Wickliffe on Thursday, October 8! See details below.
๐ Remember, we have NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 9 AND Monday, October 12.
Thank you,
Mathew Prezioso

Nurses' Update
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy October! Please take a moment to read over a few important reminders!
๐ We started conducting vision screenings this week for kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and any other students new to Munson. We had great helpers from Auburn Career Center on Tuesday! We still have students we need to screen, so we'll send results home once we are finished.
๐ Please check your child's backpack and be sure to send them with a weather-appropriate change of clothing every day (including socks and underwear)! While the school keeps a small supply of spare clothing, our sizes and options are limited. Plus, kids feel much more comfortable
๐ฑ Many phone calls from the office or clinic are showing as "spam likely" or being blocked by cell phone providers. Please take a moment to save our office and clinic numbers in your phone so that you don't risk missing an important call!
Office: 440-286-5901
Clinic: 440-286-0490
Thank you!
