Hello Northglade Families,

I hope you were able to spend this past week with family and friends. It was good to slow down for a few, but now it's time to get back to business.

This week, school will resume tomorrow, Monday, April 6 at 8:50 to 3:50. Remember, we open the doors for breakfast at 8:30. Please make sure students have had a good night's sleep tonight and are on time and ready to learn.

I hope you and your family are enjoying your Easter Sunday. Below are a list of events that will take place this week.

Think! Energy through Consumers Energy

On Monday, April 6, our 2nd graders and our 4th graders will participate in a program sponsored by Consumers Energy, Think! Energy. Consumers Energy's Think! Energy program is a free, hands-on educational initiative for Michigan students to learn about energy efficiency and sustainability. It provides in-class presentations, energy-saving kits for homes, and curriculum-aligned activities for schools to promote energy education. So be on the lookout for those kits to come home this week.

Friendly Reminder

Please continue to send in large paper bags, with the handles. These bags will be used to send students' beautiful artwork home. She is also in need of a few volunteers to help mount the artwork to a colored piece of paper, to then be displayed. Please reach out to Mrs. Brege if you are interested in assisting.

Unpredictable Michigan Weather

Please remember that we do live in Michigan and we know that the weather can change in the middle of the day. Please make sure that you are sending students in with an extra pair of outdoor shoes to change into while playing at recess. This will help keep the classroom carpets free from mud and dirt. Students are allowed to wear slippers in class as well.
