Career Van For Grades 5-8
Wednesday, fifth-eighth grade students had the opportunity to step inside 115 different careers through the Mobile Career Exploration Classroom!
Using immersive VR headsets, students aren't just watching a video—they're experiencing careers in 360 degrees. They can look around and see what it's like to be a diesel technician, dental hygienist, plumber, electrician, agronomist, teacher, nurse, and so much more.
The Mobile Career Exploration Classroom gives students the opportunity to explore careers they already think they might be interested in, but we also encourage them to try something they know nothing about. Because career exploration isn't just about confirming what you think you want to do. It's about discovering possibilities you didn't know existed.
Thank you Ann for bringing this experience to our students!
3rd Grade Guests Bring Hands On Learning
Mrs. Kurtti welcomed Chris Cahill into the 3rd Grade classroom to share the book My Mouth is Volcano, followed up with the iconic volcanic science experiment with mentos and diet coke on the playground!
Next up, Kimberly Lemieux shared her horticulural talent with the students as they made wonderful Fall decorations.
Big Bulldog thanks to Chris and Kimberly for sharing your time and talents with our students!
