Sherrard Elementary Library Highlights! - by Karen Millichamp
This month in the library we read two wonderful Monarch books about butterflies, Home is Calling and Papilio.
- On International Dot Day we read Dot Day by Peter Reynolds and decorated our own dots to be displayed in the hallway.
- We followed up by reading our new bookTime to Make Art and discussed all the wonderful artists in the book and looked at examples of their work.
- We finished off the month by reading Butt or Face and Thunder and Cluck.
- We were able to pick out a stuffie and a book and quietly read to them, the stuffies thoroughly enjoyed this!
- We then made origami butterflies and checked out all our awesome origami books in our Nonfiction section.
