The Tiger Connection Week 9

The Tiger Connection Week 9
The TigerConnection Week 9

Principal's Corner

This past week brought a range of emotions as we mourned a tremendous loss within our SCPS family. Sgt. Bonner’s warmth, laughter, and dedication touched so many lives, and we find comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on in our hearts. As we move forward, let us continue to support one another and honor his memory through the kindness and care we show each day.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Family Engagement Survey. While participation was limited, the feedback provided valuable insight into how we can better serve our students and families. Your voices matter, and we will use your suggestions to help guide our family engagement efforts.

As we look ahead to the remainder of October, we have exciting opportunities to learn, celebrate, and connect at SCMS, and we want you to be part of them! Please take a moment to explore the upcoming events in this newsletter and make plans to join us. As always, thank you for your continued partnership and for helping make SCMS a place where our Tigers can thrive. ~ Dr. Reavis

On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff of Sussex Central Middle School, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives were touched by Sgt. Bonner.

Sgt. Bonner made a lasting impact on the students, staff, and community of Sussex County Public Schools. He shared his knowledge and expertise generously, but it was his warmth, humor, and joyful spirit that made him so special. It was hard to leave a conversation with Sgt. Bonner without a good laugh or a smile, and those moments are memories we will always cherish.

Thank you, Sgt. Bonner, for the love you showed, the dedication you gave, and the joy you brought to our school community. As we grieve together, may we find comfort in the memories we share and strength in supporting one another. May we honor your legacy by extending to others the same kindness and care you so freely gave.

You will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
