CJHS: AMI Day

CJHS: AMI Day

From the Principal-

From Dr. Cleveland:

Good afternoon Springdale Family,

Springdale School District will participate in AMI for Wednesday, January 25, 2023 due to severe weather. We feel it is best to make the determination early enough for our schools and community to make appropriate preparations. Hopefully we will be able to return to in-person learning on Thursday. Our district teams will be out and about on Wednesday to clear our parking lots, sidewalks and facilities in preparation for Thursday. I will keep you updated as more information becomes available during the day tomorrow. Have a great afternoon and stay safe heading home!

Parents,

We will have an AMI Day tomorrow:

Alternative Method of Instruction Day (AMI)

1. AMI days are considered school days.

2. Teachers will be meeting (via Zoom) and will be available throughout the day via email.

3. Students will take Chromebooks home today.

4. They will need to access "electronic classroom" (such as Google Classroom)

5. Then, complete work assigned by teacher for attendance.

Teachers have been asked to:

1. Post student work by 9 a.m.

2. Be accessible via email w/ response or Zoom throughout the school day 9-4.

3. Provide work that will practice current skills students are familiar with and assignments no longer than 15 minutes long- 30 minutes maximum time spent per class.
