Mood Boost Happy
We served up roasted beets that contain betaine which produces serotonin that promotes the "Happy"
Roasted Beet Chips
These beet chips were undecided by all. Some of our student really enjoyed them, some said please let us have our tots! 😁
Chef Thomas
Chef Thomas spent some time to explain the importance of nutrition and feeding our bodies fuel.
Pancakes from scratch
We taught students that making pancakes from scratch, is simple and the product is so much better!
Salsa
The students made salsa from scratch, learned knife skills that was very exciting! They served the homemade salsa with tacos that they made later in the week.
Apple Pie
All students learned how to make an apple pie from scratch and were able to take it home for the whole family to enjoy!
Shanjida
Shanjida is an amazing team player at the middle school who make such beautiful pizza and calzone. If you ever need help she is running to assist you!
Camille
Camille is an amazing team player at our middle school too! She always has a smile and is willing to assist anyone! If you are looking for her you will find her at the Sono station!
High School -Hue Le
Ms. Hue has been at the high school and was nominated by our high school students! That is a huge honor and testament to what she does every day!
We combined Student Choice with Chili Days
We wanted to see what other options that our students would like to see on our menu! They would like some Orange Chicken....hold tight it will be coming soon!!
Student's Choice
Our students choose between chicken chili or vegetarian chili and 88% of our students would love to have this on the menu.
Chef Thomas & Chef Mia
We listen and have incorporated our chili to our menu and you will find a rotation of our chili and soups in our wild greens station!
