Daylight Savings Time is just around the corner and the snow has melted to reveal signs of spring! We can't believe we only have 11 more school weeks with our otters this year! And fewer than that until state testing!
Check below for your student's specific testing dates and mark your calendar. Spring testing begins in only 27 school days! As we continue to maximize our learning opportunities, your help in ensuring your student is at school daily is critical.
Attendance Matters
Our current daily attendance rates for February are:
Kindergarten: 92.99%
1st Grade: 93.27%
2nd Grade: 93.43%
3rd Grade: 92.36%
4th Grade: 93.51% 🏅
Daily attendance is vital in helping students stay on track academically, building strong relationships, practicing social and communication skills, and increasing connection and a sense of belonging. Studies show that increased absenteeism, even one day per month, can lead to lower achievement and increased emotional concerns.
If your student is struggling with a situation and hesitant to come to school, please reach out to their homeroom teacher, one of our counselors, or one of our administrators. We are all here to help!

Remember that instruction in the classroom begins at 7:50 am each morning. Please ensure students are inside no later than 7:45 so they can get to their classroom, put their belongings away, and get started on a successful day.
