GOOD THINGS
We LOVED seeing everyone in their Red, White & Blue outfits to honor Patriots Day!
Thank you to Sowal Life newspaper for the great article about VRB. Make sure you grab a copy!
Congratulations, Rhett Alfonso!
This past summer he participated in the National Dance Honors Honored Dancer Competition in Las Vegas, NV where he was selected as one of the MINI HONORED DANCER out of 98 dancers his age. This is a HUGE honor as he will be traveling throughout the United States representing BOTH Revive Dance Convention and Adrenaline Dance Convention as an Honored Assistant to some of the Dance Industry’s biggest names and will also get to perform in all cities he attends. He will have to attend Nationals in Orlando, FL this summer.
He also attended another Nationals event in San Diego, CA where he was selected as a Hollywood Dance Jamz Junior Company Member and will have the privilege to tour with their convention as an Assistant and perform during the weekends too!
*If you have a "Good Thing" you would like to share, please email Mrs. Michal and it will be added to our next newsletter.

Dr. Hawthorne's Highlights
From Dr. Hawthorne:
Parents:
You should have received your child's Progress Report this week. If you haven't, please let us know. Although there may be just a few grades to start off the new year, we do want every child starting out strong. If you are worried about grades or progress, please consider scheduling a parent/teacher conference soon.
Thank you in advance for joining us at Open House this upcoming Thursday from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. I know your child will be excited to show off their school, classroom, and teachers. Please take this time to make contact with your child's teacher(s) and find out more about how you can help your child grow this school year. In addition to your classroom, please visit our gym where we will have PTO and other important information (Rooms, PikMyKid, FOCUS), and of course, please visit our Book Fair!
Hope you have a great weekend!
