University of Iowa College Visit University of Iowa College Visit

On Wednesday, April 24, fourteen Riceville students had the opportunity to take a college visit to the University of Iowa. Students attended an Admissions Presentation to learn more about the 200+ majors, minors, and certificate program available at the university. After the completion of the presentation, two collegiate tour guides led the group on a walking tour of campus. To end the day, students were provided with a complimentary lunch at the Burge Marketplace Dining Hall. Riceville students had a great deal of positive feedback to share from their experience. The visit provided them with insight about their current high school coursework if they plan to pursue an academic future at the University of Iowa. And after post-visit conversations with students, Iowa was certainly a collegiate choice.
