Patriot Peek at the Week News

We will have a short week this coming week with no school on both Thursday and Friday. Students and staff will join with Veterans from the Legion for a flag raising ceremony outside on the morning of Wednesday, November 10th. We are thankful for all Veterans.

Please make plans to have someone pick up your child's fundraiser items on Monday, November 8th between 3:00-6:00 PM from the Wolf Ridge Cafeteria. Since these items need to be refrigerated, it is very important that they are picked up during this timeframe. Thank you very much to everyone that supported our school by participating in the fundraiser. We were able to raise over $8,000. I will be meeting with our student council about how to use these funds to best benefit our students. Typically, these funds are used to add something to our playground. Read below for more information about our top fundraisers.

I have had many students and parents talk to me about needing some more Patriot gear. Now is your chance! Each student will be bringing home a two-sided order form today, Friday. Please complete the order form and return it with payment by Wednesday, November 10th. I know this is a quick turnaround, but our goal is to have orders ready for pick up prior to winter break. These items would make great gifts!

Thank you to all those students that raised funds for our school by participating in our fall fundraiser this year. We were able to raise over $8,000!

Our TOP FUNDRAISER is Matthew Allen. He will get the chance to be the PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY on November 19th! During this special day, he will get to eat a VDI lunch with a friend of his choice in the office, make a new school rule for the day, visit different classrooms, do the morning announcements over the intercom, monitor recess times, and more! Thank you so much, Matthew!

Students in grades 6th-8th should sign up using the link below if they would like to tryout for junior high volleyball. Tryouts will take place on December 1st and 2nd from 3:30-5:00 at Wolf Ridge. All players must have a current physical on file in the office to be able to tryout.

If you would like to serve on the Wolf Ridge Parent Advisory Committee, please click on the link above and complete the brief form. I would like to have parents represented from each grade level. This committee will meet once each quarter to give feedback and suggestions to the principal about important topics that impact our students at Wolf Ridge.

Weekly Rate for Both Before & After School: $80/week

DAILY Rate for Both Before & After School: $20/each day

DAILY Rate for Either Before OR After: $15/each day

Full Day Rate for Non-Attendance School Days: $25/each day

(There is a 10% discount for more than one child.)

The Legion will be here in the morning to do a flag ceremony for students in honor of Veteran's Day.

We will not have school on November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day. We will also not have school on that Friday, November 12th. PAC will be closed on November 11th, but they will be open for childcare on November 12th. Reach out to Ms. Bassett at the number above for more information.
