JANUARY NEWSLETTER

The Eden Valley-Watkins Elementary Staff would like to wish you and your families a Very Happy New Year!

January 19th will be a staff work day. No school for students on this day.

January 16th will be the last day of the second quarter. Report cards will be sent home on Friday, January 23rd.

EVW IS LOOKING FOR HEROES!

Students of Eden Valley-Watkins Elementary can be SUPERHEROES!!

Let’s honor and remember those fighting cancer by dressing up as ANY

superhero on January 16th!

If you choose to donate, students may bring a donation of any amount for the NPK HERO Foundation. We will be collecting donations the week of January 12th though January 16th. Checks can be made out the the NPK HERO Foundation

​The EV-W Impact group will once again be selling roses, carnations, and balloons for Valentine’s Day! We will be selling from mid-January through early-February. We will be sending an email with an electronic ordering link after Christmas break. • To help keep everyone healthy, please keep your child home for 24 hours after vomiting, diarrhea, or an unmedicated fever of 100°F or higher.

• Help prevent the spread of illness by covering coughs, washing hands often, and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.

• Flu Shots Available: It’s not too late! A yearly flu vaccine is the best way to protect against the flu.
