Principal's Message
Good afternoon, Bear Creek Families-
It is the last week of the quarter, and many classes will have exams. Be sure to come to school well rested and prepared. We enjoyed beautiful weather this week and ended with Lunch on the Lawn. One Friday of each month, staff will come out to the quad area during lunchtime to eat lunch and visit with students.
I hope everyone is prepped and ready to show your school spirit this week!! Student Government has been hard at work to bring an amazing week of fun activities to celebrate Homecoming. Please take a closer look at the details in this newsletter.
Sincerely-
Ms. Julie HummelAnnouncements

Enrolled In Bruin Tutorial
Greetings Bear Creek parent/guardian,
Freshmen were enrolled in Bruin Tutorial based on grades from 8th grade.
This was to provide academic support for the start of their freshman year and ensure a successful high school experience.
Bruin Tutorial is a dedicated 22 minutes to learning enrichment and counts as part of the school day. During this time they receive academic support from a trained peer tutor.
If according to Aeries and/or the host tutorial teacher, the student has either not been attending or not participating in Bruin Tutorial for two or more tutorial days we will relinquish their spot to a student on the waiting list. Please encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Bear Creek Tutorial Committee

Lunch In the Quad
We have had our first Lunch in the Quad. Teachers spend their lunch period out in the quad with the students. We encourage students to come by say hi. Our staff is working to build a strong connection to the school or being proud to represent the school and the values it stands for with our students. This particular event staff donated popcorn and candy that they were giving out the students.
