LTE Community Update

Join in on supporting the Denver Broncos as they head to the AFC Championship Game on Sunday! Students are all encouraged to wear Bronco colors and gear, including hats and hoodies!

Our Valentine's Day Exchange will be held on Thursday, February 12, the last day of school before a four-day weekend for students. These “exchanges” are low-key, and here are some key points.

• Students bring a bag/box to collect Valentines, as well as a Valentine for each student in their classroom. (Candy can be part of a Valentine, but please be respectful of students with food allergies.)
• Our focus is on giving students time to exchange and open Valentines; therefore, we do not need parent volunteers, room decorations, or organized games.
• Teachers schedule the day as they wish to accommodate their particular schedule.
• Teachers and/or room parents may choose to send out a sign-up for light refreshments such as juice or small snacks. (Check our Shared Food Policy)
• Teachers communicate to their families about what to send in for these parties, as well as a list of student names.

Thank you, coaches, and applause to all of our students who competed in the Battle of the Books. A big congratulations to our winners and good luck with district battles!

Kids grow better in nature! Come play in the woods, make friends, and explore the great outdoors. Our campers build confidence and independence as they splash in streams, play in the mud, and uncover the secrets of nature in Chatfield State Park.

As a feeder school in the Highlands Ranch HS area, we can help them reach their goal by following this link. Lone Tree Elementary Make a Wish Colorado 2026. The 50 top people from each of the HRHS feeder schools get a free kid’s Cane’s meal!

Check out how HRHS is promoting Wish Week: Master Calendar. Even though we won't be changing our dress code for the week at LTE, we can support in other ways by participating in a babysitting night and by visiting restaurants that are giving back to the cause.
