Outdoor ABC Photo Scavenger Hunt Outdoor ABC Photo Scavenger Hunt

As the warmer weather comes, take your children outside for this exciting Scavenger Hunt!!!

This outdoor scavenger hunt is for kids of all ages and you can make it easier or more difficult based on their age. Here are the different ways to play.

Pre-K – Help them find different things from outside that start with all the different letters of the alphabet. Focus on the starting letter and reiterate it’s sound!

Elementary – Take them out to find something that starts with every letter of the alphabet. Let them practice sounding out and writing each word.

Take pictures of your child with the object they have found. Once done, print the photos out and put them in a Dollar Tree photo album. Your child will have their own ABC book with pictures of things they found with them in the pictures.

Go the extra step and do the same things with numbers. Example: 5 acorns, lay them out and have your child in the picture holding up 5 fingers.

Remember children love to see themselves in photos!
