Make a difference Monday. We want to recognize those who help keep us safe on campus. After today, Officer Matano will be moving over to Chastain campus and Officer Hines will be our Guardian at Clark. Make sure to wish her well and welcome him tomorrow. Corporal Porcelli from the Sheriff’s office will also be taking on a new role, but no worries as we will still see him at prom and graduation.
Take Care Tuesday- Take a few deep breaths. Deep breathing, also known as diaphragmatic breathing, is a proven technique for reducing stress and anxiety. It can do incredible things for the body, such as reducing blood pressure and lowering cortisol, a stress hormone. Not only that, but by taking a few moments every day to pause and breathe, we can boost our mood, reduce anxiety, and improve our overall well being.
Way to Go Wednesday: Shout out to Sydney Richey for being a front desk leader and helping cover while Mrs. Decker is out. Also, a big way to go to Kathy Ramos for helping as an ambassador for our visitors this morning.
Today is thankful Thursday -We are very thankful to Mr. Omar, Mr. Watson and all the students who helped them get our first renovated computer classroom up and running!
Today is Fun Fact Friday. Markings on animal bones indicate that humans have been doing math since around 30,000BC.
