Hello Clippers,

Everyone here at the high school is looking forward to seeing you this week. Tomorrow we will welcome all freshmen and students new to NHS at their orientation. And Wednesday will be the official start of school for everyone.

As a reminder to our grade 9 and new students, your orientation will begin at 9:00 AM tomorrow. You will meet on the field behind the high school. We want to give a big thank you to our peer mentors for the work they have put in for the orientation to ensure all of our new students have a fun start to the school year.

On Wednesday, everyone will report to their Onward Block (Advisory) classroom at the start of school. Remember, the school day begins at 8:15. A good habit is to be at the high school by 8:05 so you have time to settle in and be in your classroom by the 8:15 bell.

Over our first 2 days, we will run grade level assemblies during which the administrative team will share school year goals and routines that will help us continue the growth and spirit of Newburyport High School.
