Happy Friday afternoon Nike families,

READING COUNTS: The entire school tracked their reading minutes and read a total of 130,428 minutes. The goal was to increase our reading stamina, which is the amount of time we read and to complete the books we read.

We have many exciting things going on at Nike! Below you will see a bulleted list of events coming up:

Monday, Feb 20th - No School - President's Day
Friday, Feb 24th - End of 2nd Trimester - Early Dismissal at 1:10 pm

Tuesday, Feb 28-March 3rd- Dr. Seuss & Read Across America Week- more to come next week
Friday, March 3rd- End of Trimester Celebration (during the school day)

It's still very cold outside, so please keep in mind that students should bring a coat to school during the colder weather. If your child needs a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach out.
