Camp Contact's 20th Anniversary!
Sunday Love Fundraiser, Burning Man & Constellation
Organizing is Under Way for Burning Man 2025!
Join Camp Contact at Burning Man 2025!
We've got a good crew assembled, and we have some spots left! We are actively seeking dedicated and experienced campmates—especially veteran burners familiar with medium to large camp logistics—who can commit to staying through Monday evening (or later if needed) to assist with strike and MOOP sweep. Our goal is to distribute leadership more effectively, prevent burnout, and build resilience against unpredictable weather events while taking on less and spending less time on playa.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the next chapter of Camp Contact. If you’ve camped with us before and resonate with our community of practice, we’d love to welcome you back. If you’re new but bring the dedication and experience to support a thriving large camp, we invite you to apply.
Let’s come together to create a sustainable, inspiring, and deeply connected Camp Contact for Burning Man 2025 and beyond. We'll be celebrating our 20th anniversary of being on the playa since Karl Frost started Contact Camp in 2005. Learn more about the history of camp from Ronja Ver's article in Contact Quarterly.
We are now accepting applications for Camp Contact at Burning Man 2025!

Playa Del Fuego & Summerisle (Pennsylvania) and Welcome Home (North Carolina)
Thank you everyone who joined us at Playa Del Fuego, Special thanks to Shelley-Belle who organized our meals and made so much happen at camp for us this weekend! Thanks also to Amy Hamburger for facilitating such great Contact Improv Classes!
We are sad to hear that Transformus is likely not happening in 2025, we hope we are mistaken and some magic happens to bring it together for this summer. However, the "Welcome Home" burn is happening at the original location of Transformus, at Deerfields. Join the Facebook group for this to learn more!, and let Darrell know if you want Camp Contact to come!
Camp Contact Mission and Vision
Camp Contact creates transformational workshops that bring embodiment, awareness, sensitivity and inspiration and offers them at burns! And, we work together to understand and grow in our relationships. This camp is an ever growing network of amazing humans. We are so grateful that, at each event, bonds are foraged and/or deepened. You put the connection into Contact. Thank you for being you! We look forward to dancing with you from the Eclipsing Sun to the Dust.
