• April 24, 25, & 26 - PSSA ELA Grades 3 - 8: makeup dates April 27 & 28

• May 1 & 2 - PSSA Math Grades 3 - 8: makeup dates May 3, 4, 5
  

• May 4 & 5 - PSSA Science Grades 4 & 8: makeup dates May 8 & 9
  

Our district held belief is that all students in grades 3 - 8 should take the PSSA exams and give their best performance. The exams provide valuable data that allows us to appropriately plan and adjust our instructional practices in these areas.

Keystone exams are a graduation requirement under the Pathways to Graduation Act 158. Students must receive a proficient or distinguished score in Keystone Algebra, Biology, and Literature or follow an alternative pathway to graduate. See your guidance counselor for details.

Leadership Northeast is excited to announce that Junior Leadership Class of 2024 applications are now available. I have attached electronic versions of all relevant documents.

Please note that two Student Leadership Assessments are required for a complete application. The attached document is a writable PDF, and there will also be a link to the application (and required Assessment forms) on their website www.leadershipnortheast.org. All Class of 2024 applications should be typed for submission. This year’s application deadline is Friday, March 10, 2023. We will accept the first 20 completed applications per school. Please download the document in order to save changes.

The Kiwanis Club of Mountain Top donated $1,000 to the Crestwood Future Business Leaders of America to help defray the cost of the FBLA State Leadership Conference (SLC). The SLC will take place from April 16-19 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Crestwood FBLA has 35 students competing in various business events such as Accounting, Business Law, Health Care Administration, Journalism, Personal Finance, and Computer Applications.

The White Haven Lions Club is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications
