    Virtual Learning Days

Emergency snow days packets will be sent home at the beginning of January again for elementary students. Please make sure you save these packets in case we have more snow days. Students do receive incentives for completing these packets.

Teachers will still send home packets if we know the weather is coming and then the packets that were sent for emergency will be saved for later.

    Label Items

Please label all of students items with initials so we can easily identify their items to return them if they are misplaced.

    Counselor's Corner

December was snowy, cold and with a near full week of virtual learning that meant classroom lessons had to freeze for a little bit too! We identified different emotions and even compared a few emotions that can feel similar but look different. It was a good way to label things we felt towards the break! January will be filled with new hope and goals! We will be setting goals for the remainder of the school year and a resolution for the year! We will also start to look at qualities of a good friendship/relationship.

    Meet Ms. Hoffner!

My name is Ms. Hoffner and this is my 7th year teaching at Minnewaukan School, it’s the BEST JOB EVER! I enjoy getting to know all of the students. We like to have a lot of fun! When I’m not teaching reading and writing to the 4th-6th graders, I love to spend time with my friends and family, watch all of my shows, attend concerts, and travel as much as I can!

    Meet Mrs. Walter!

Hello! I am Mrs. Walter and I teach 1 st grade. This is my 8 th year teaching at Minnewaukan

School. I graduated from Mayville State University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I

live on a farm in the country with my husband and two boys. Gatlin is 5 years old and is in

Kindergarten and Statler is 2 years old. I will be having my third baby in January! We also have

cattle, chickens, goats, horses and all kinds of animals. I love Minnewaukan School because of

the kids and how excited they get when they are learning! Every year they melt my heart with

how happy they are to be in school!
