JANUARY BREAKFAST/LUNCH MENU

HOLIDAYS & SCHOOL BREAKS CAN BE HARD ON FAMILIES...

As we see time and time again, we had an INCREDIBLE response from our generous community during this time of need. We received over $7,500 in donations - from our staff fundraisers, student can drive, the Riverton Garden Club, Contango Oil and Gas, County 10's Stuff the Car event, and many wonderful anonymous donors. THANK YOU to everyone who gave and continually shows up for our students.

Because of these donors, we were able to give the following to students:

7 sets of new clothing and winter gear

5 pairs of new shoes

23 toiletry kits (with deodorant, toothbrushes, combs, and other hygiene products)

13 Christmas gifts
Assistance with utilities and groceries

and nearly 1,100LBS of FOOD

Also, Central Bank and Trust's Angel Tree event delivered 25 Christmas gifts to us (and more to other schools) for kids in need.

Thank you for making this season brighter for everyone at Riverton Middle School!

Ranch Dip

Ingredients

¾ cup mayonnaise
¾ cup sour cream
½ teaspoon dried dill weed
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon dried chives
½ teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
¼ teaspoon granulated onion or onion powder
⅛ teaspoon kosher salt, adjust to taste
⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 ½ teaspoons fresh lemon juice or white vinegar

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk to combine.

Serve with fresh vegetables.

🏈 WEIGHT TRAINING

Weight training will be available starting tomorrow morning (1/4) to all 7th and 8th graders interested in playing football. Weights will be M-Th mornings from 6:30am-7:30am at the RHS weight room. Transportation will not be provided.

HUNTER SAFETY - JANUARY SESSION

We will be running the second session in January and it will be held right after school. The Wyoming Game & Fish Department has set the class size to not exceed 35 participants. If you are interested, please click on the link and fill out the form. We will give preference to students who are currently at hunting age and have the ability to hunt immediately following the class. Once we fulfill those requirements, we will go to a first come, first serve basis. If we can't accommodate you, the Wyoming Game and Fish will continue to offer courses as well.

7TH GRADE REMINDER

All 7th graders are required to have a Tdap (adult tetanus) vaccine, unless they have a medical or religious exemption. Thank you and please provide a copy to the school. For questions or more information, please contact Nurse Kenna at kborst@fremont25.org.

POWERSCHOOL

You can start completing your students registration forms for the 2023-2024 school year via your parent PowerSchool login. And, good news, there are fewer forms to be updated! You can find the forms under the 2023-24 School Year heading. Please log in and update your information, as well as, add contacts to your student's list who may check them out from school. Please call the office or email Mrs. Mayes with questions.
