Wildcats in Action Wildcats in Action

It was a big week for us this week as we had several activities going on throughout the week!

Our boys baseball team started district play against Olney this week with games on Tuesday and Friday Evening! The boys brought home two district wins bringing their district record to 2-0! The boys won Tuesday's game by a score of 5 to 2 and Friday's game 14-0! Congrats to our Wildcat Baseball Team!

Our softball team continued their first round of district play with wins against Olney on Monday and Seymour on Friday. The girls improved their district record to 2-1 on the season! The JV girls also picked up wins in Olney and against Seymour!

Golf and Tennis continued their march towards district competition with successful outings in their tournaments! One highlight from Golf is our girls team placed second this week at their tournament!

High School and Junior High Track traveled to Haskell this past week on Wednesday and Thursday for the Haskell Meet! Several of our students picked up some hardware at these events! Check our track results below!

Our High School One Act Play competed at district this past week! While our show did not advance this year, our team put on a wonderful performance of "Four Old Broads" at the competition! Chloe Hibbs received recognition for Honorable Mention All-Star Cast and Lyla Nichols was awarded All-Star Cast.

Finishing Strong: The Will to Win

As we return from Spring Break, the final stretch of the school year is officially in front of us. This time of year always brings excitement and activity across our campus. From Prom and Graduation celebrations to the many competitions and performances ahead—including baseball, softball, track, tennis, One Act Play, and many other events—our students will have numerous opportunities to represent Archer City with pride.

With so much happening, it is important that we remain focused on our theme for the year: The Will to Win. A winner’s mindset means staying disciplined, showing up every day prepared, and continuing to give our best effort both in the classroom and in our activities. The final weeks of the school year are often the most memorable, but they are also the most demanding. Success during this time comes from maintaining strong habits, supporting one another, and finishing what we started.

For our seniors, this is a special and meaningful time as graduation approaches. For all of our students, it is an opportunity to continue growing academically and personally while representing our school in a positive way.

Let’s approach the remainder of the year with energy, pride, and determination. If we stay focused on doing the little things right and continue to compete in everything we do, we will finish this school year the way we began it—with The Will to Win.
