SHAWN STELTER WITH THE PERFECT GAME!
Congrats to senior Shawn Stelter on bowling a perfect game! What an incredible accomplishment!
Every year, the Berea-Midpark High School boys’ basketball program commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by choosing a theme that reflects his legacy. On behalf of the basketball program, varsity team members Reid Braaten and Nicholas Reece shared this year’s focus on service and community, announcing the creation of the Community Box Score Project.
Each week in January, the BMHS boys’ basketball team delivers non-perishable items to mini pantries in Berea, Brook Park, and Middleburg Heights, honoring Dr. King’s call to build a beloved community. Senior team member Dylan Maddox shared that the team is fully committed because “it’s important to give back and remember how much the community gives to us.” As fellow senior Cal Maloney added, “It’s important to show that we see and care about others.” We enthusiastically applaud these thoughtful young people for being true winners, both on and off the court.
