CES Weekly Communicator

Issue #16: December 8, 2023

This weekly update will be how we communicate with the school community. Please check your emails on Fridays for the most recent school news.

Principal Corner

Happy Friday, Chapelfield Families.

Today was a great day to celebrate our PAWS winners for the month of November. Every month we are recognizing students who show the different components of PAWS. In November, we focused on WORKING HARD. There were 40 students selected as Chapelfield Leaders in that area! So far this year, we have recognized 120 students for our PBIS system of PAWS. In addition, students are able to put their handprint on our PAWS OF FAME in the front hallway.

Not only do we celebrate our students, we celebrate our staff as well. Two staff members are recognized every month for showing our CORE VALUES. This month, Mrs. Strous and Mrs. Weaver were recognized for WORKING COLLABORATIVELY with their colleagues. In the past, Mrs. Wachtman, Mrs. Mellville, Mrs. Jasin, and Miss Brammer have been selected by their colleagues.

Celebrating our students and our staff for going above and beyond is something that is important to our Chapelfield community. We work hard here everyday to be the best version of ourselves.

Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Nikki Miller

Transportation Update

As a reminder, please know the time of your student's bus stop. We are happy to offer Here Comes the Bus as an aide for parents tracking their student's bus, but there may be some times when the app is not exact. We certainly do not want students to miss the bus, so please be sure your student is at their stop at the scheduled time. To remind yourself of your pickup time, visit our Transfinder page.
