Principal's Corner- September 25, 2026
Dear Families,
Happy October! We are now in the full flow of school. The next five weeks are full, consecutive five days each week. Teaching in our CKLA Reading and our enVision math programs is now routine. We have collected initial reading and math data, and from that information we are starting small reading and math support groups. Morning meetings are an everyday way for us to sit in a circle, greet one another, and set our purpose for the day. Through Second Step lessons, we are teaching students to how to regulate their emotions and interact productively with other people. We appreciate your support of all we do here at Enfield!
We hope to see you at Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct 17, 1-3 PM at Erdenheim, sponsored by EEHSP. Our school Halloween Parade will take place at the start of school on Friday, October 30.
Happy Autumn,
Dr. Kuhn, Mr. Fleming, and the entire Enfield School Team

Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month is a national celebration in the United States that honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. It takes place from September 15 to October 15, a time chosen to coincide with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile. The celebration began in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon B. Johnson and was expanded to a full month by President Ronald Reagan in 1988. Today, Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognize the lasting impact of Latino figures in fields such as politics, art, music, and science, and to celebrate the vibrant cultures that continue to shape the U.S. in meaningful ways.
Star Students of the Week
We’re excited to launch our “Star Student of the Week” program starting the week of October 5th!
Each week, one student from every class will be chosen and recognized for showing their Spartan PRIDE. Our Star Students will be invited to a special morning celebration with the principals, where they’ll receive a few special gifts and have their picture proudly displayed in the hallway for all to see.
By the end of the year, every student will have the opportunity to shine as a “Star of the Week”!
We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing students and the positive choices they’re making each day!
