Virtue of the month - FAIRNESS
A fair person ….
- listens to both sides of a story
- is a good team player
- knows that the same rules apply to everyone
- works to bring about peaceful solutions to problems
Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations: An Effective Communicator
I HAVE A VOICE!
- I speak, write and listen as Jesus would want me to
- I care about others and speak up for them
- I am honest
- I think carefully before I react or speak
- I respect all people and their language
- I listen to the Word of God
Because I have a voice, I will use it lovingly, and I will live my life like Jesus.
FATHER'S DAY
Father's Day is a time to celebrate and honour fathers, father figures, and all the men who contribute to the lives of their families and communities.
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family in need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... Dad

Summer Blessing for Families
May we make our homes
places of relaxation,
joy, love, peace and safety.
May we be generous
and considerate,
not thinking only
about ourselves, but helping others enjoy the blessings of the summertime.
Lord God, Creator of all things,
guide our steps and
strengthen our hearts
during these months of
summer and vacation days.
Grant us refreshment
of mind and body.
May we constantly strive to make a meaningful difference
in the lives of our loved ones and in the world around us
as we enjoy the warm days of summertime.
