5th grade Confidence Ropes Course
The 5th grade will participate in our annual ropes course to help build self confidence, conquer fears and find trust in others as they prepare for their future ahead of them. 1 class per day will participate between October 22nd through October 30th. Below is the scheduled date for each class.

Fill The Goodwill Truck At Forestbrook Elementary
The seasons are changing! It's a great time to start cleaning out your closets or cupboards filled with old clothes or items that you no longer need or use. The Goodwill Truck will be coming to our school on Saturday, November 1st from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM to collect any and all donation items. The more trucks we fill, the more contribution to our school, as well as helping those in our community who may be in need of the items that you donate.

If you are not currently a member and wish to join our PTA, the cost is $7.50 per person, per school year.
If you are interested in renting our FES Spirit Rock, please complete the attached form and return it to the office with payment in care of the PTA. Please email ForestbrookSpiritRock@gmail.com with any spirit rock questions or inquiries.
Student Dismissal Transportation Changes
All changes to a students transportation for dismissal must be submitted in writing to the main office. Please provide a signed note with contact information if you have prior knowledge that the student will be going home a different way or picked up by a different person.
If the student is already at school and you need to make a change to their transportation home, you must send an email to the following address with the appropriate information:

A student must have an Attendance Intervention Plan (AIP) with:
three (3) consecutive all-day unexcused absences, or
five (5) cumulative all-day unexcused absences, or
ten (10) or more unexcused tardy or early releases
A student's absence may be excused by medical doctor's written statement, a proof of bereavement, or parent note. A parent may submit notes for up to six (6) school days and they will be counted as excused. Up to eight (8) medical notes will be counted as excused absences at the elementary level. After 8 medical notes have been validated or 10 unexcused absences, students may be asked to participate in summer learning opportunities.
