Creek Lookout
August 9th, 2024 Vol. 4 Iss. 2
Hello Piper Creek Families!
This week has been filled with exciting learning, field trips, and fun at Piper Creek! All students had the opportunity to experience the Pirate Ship using the LiveSchool points they have earned. A special thank-you to Sarah Purtee for all her hard work and creativity in bringing our Pirate Ship to life! It is truly outstanding! When you are in the building, be sure to check it out. We also appreciate our Hallway Heroes and Watchdogs for helping make this experience a success!
As a reminder, next week is a short week before Fall Break. We will have school on Monday, October 26, and Tuesday, October 27. There will be no school Wednesday, October 28, through Friday, October 30. Parent-teacher conferences will take place on Wednesday, October 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If you have not yet scheduled a conference, please reach out to your childβs teacher as soon as possible to arrange a time. Conferences are a valuable opportunity to connect with your childβs teacher, discuss academic progress and grades, celebrate successes, and share insights about your childβs overall school experience. We value the partnership between home and school and look forward to connecting with you!
Have a wonderful Fall Break, Pirates! Thank you for your continued partnership and support of Piper Creek!

Y-Care For Families on Late Start Fridays
Families who only need care on Friday mornings should fill out this form: https://forms.gle/GHyoqsYJEaRtWVs16
Current Y-Club families do not need to sign upβtheyβre already good to go.
Drop-Off Details
Piper staff can drop off their kids as early as 7:30 AM.
All other families whoβve signed up can drop off between 8:00β8:15 AM.
Weβre keeping this window to help avoid a revolving door of arrivals. After 8:15, families will need to wait until the regular school drop-off line begins. This year, weβre asking that all parents walk their child to the doorβjust like our Y-Club families do. In the past, a few kids were dropped off at the curb, and we want to make sure every child gets inside safely and smoothly.
