Start the school year connected and informed! Join us on Wednesday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m. for Cox Elementary’s first Parent Teacher Association General Membership Meeting of the year. Come meet fellow families, hear what’s ahead, and discover how we can work together to make this an amazing year for every Cox student. Refreshments will be served—we hope to see you there!

Cox Elementary is gearing up for National Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day on October 7, and we need your help to make this a fun, safe, and memorable event for our Comets!

Volunteers are needed to assist with route supervision, arrival support, check-in, encouragement stations, and helping ensure students arrive safely and confidently. These volunteers are a key part of making the event successful and creating an exciting experience for our students. Volunteer needs for route supervision, arrival support, check-in, encouragement stations, and traffic flow coordination are identified as part of the event planning process.

Whether you can help for the entire event or just a short time, your support makes a difference. This is a wonderful opportunity to promote healthy habits, build school spirit, and show our students the power of community involvement.

Trade falling leaves for thrilling slides this Fall Break! Make a splash at a special Spirit Night at Kalahari Resort & Waterpark on November 1—because nothing says “relaxing family getaway” like hearing “Watch this!” from the top of a waterslide. Book by October 1st to snag a room for four at the great rate of $189, plus tax and resort fees. Your swimsuit is ready. Is your suitcase?

Cox Elementary’s Field Day is one of the most exciting days of the school year—and it takes a lot of volunteers to make it happen! We need plenty of helping hands to support activity stations, guide students, keep events running smoothly, and help create a safe, fun-filled experience for every Comet. Additionally, will be looking for water bottles and balloon donations.

Whether you can volunteer for the full event or just part of the day, your time will make a meaningful difference. Field Day simply cannot be a success without strong parent and community support, so please consider joining us!
