Jimmy Brown Elementary Newsletter
October
Dear JBE Families,
Here are a few tips for parents:
- Review the report card with your child. Go over each grade and discuss what it means. Be sure to focus on your child's strengths and areas for improvement.
- Talk to your child's teacher. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. They can provide you with more information about your child's progress and how you can help them succeed.
- Set goals for the next grading period. Work with your child to identify areas where they want to improve. Then, develop a plan to help them reach their goals.
- Celebrate your child's accomplishments. No matter what your child's grades are, be sure to celebrate their hard work and progress. Let them know that you're proud of them.
It's also important to remember that report cards are just one snapshot of your child's progress. They don't tell the whole story. There are many other factors that contribute to a child's success, such as their social-emotional development, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The most important thing is to continue to support your child and encourage them to do their best.
