i-Ready Results for Families
During the month of August, GISD students in grades K–8 participated in the i-Ready Inform Assessment for Math and Reading. Middle school students in algebra or geometry took iXl math and will only have i-Ready Inform reading results. i-Ready is an adaptive assessment administered three times a year—fall, winter, and spring. It provides a valuable snapshot of your child’s current academic strengths and areas for growth. This diagnostic data helps us tailor high-quality instruction to meet each student's needs. We will use these results to guide next steps in learning and to monitor your child’s progress throughout the school year.
We value our partnership with you and look forward to supporting your child’s continued academic growth.

Parent Questions or Concerns
At Keeley, we value strong partnerships with our families and are committed to addressing concerns promptly and respectfully. If you have a question or concern regarding your child, we encourage you to first contact your child's teacher. In most cases, open communication between families and teachers leads to a quick and successful resolution. If your concern remains unresolved after speaking with the teacher, a campus administrator is available to provide additional support. Following this process helps ensure concerns are addressed by the appropriate individuals and allows us to work together in the best interest of every student.
Remember your badge each day
- Please make sure your child's ID badge is in a safe place and ready for school each day.
- Lost or damaged badges: The first replacement is provided at no cost. Additional replacements are $5 each. Treat the badge like any other essential school item.
Apply to be a volunteer
We value all our volunteers and the work they do to help our school. For the safety of all students, we require potential volunteers who will work at any campus receive a background check by the Department of Public Safety (DPS), which is done through our online application.
Please remember to complete a new application for every school year. To apply visit: https://garlandisd.net/connect/volunteer/volunteer-application-process
💧 Don’t Forget Your Water Bottle! 💧
Please remember to send your child to school with a water bottle each day. With the warm weather, it is especially important that our students stay hydrated throughout the school day!
Thank you for helping us keep our students happy, healthy, and ready to learn! 🤠💙❤️
