Weekly Update

I hope everyone has been enjoying their snow days! This long weekend is a perfect time to check your child's grades, look at their missing assignments, check their Schoology and help them get organized and caught up on any missing work.

This Friday will be our Monthly Celebration which means students can not have more than 5 missing assignments, can not have any F's and can not have more than 2 visits to the Principals Office.

The deadline for turning in missing work is Tuesday the 21st, with students having plenty of time to work on their school work these last few days there should be no reason they can't get their work in on Tuesday.

Monday the 20th we will be having our Student Led Conferences these are done by advisory teacher, there is a contest for the advisory that has the best participation!

Please remember for students in 7th and 8th grade they need to bring their iPad to go over their presentation with their teacher and parent. 5th and 6th graders have a paper Flipchart presentation to go over.

We know and understand that not all students have completed their presentation but that is ok, the purpose of these conferences are for students to take control of their education and progress at school. The teachers are there to help facilitate and encourage the student to share out how they are doing in their classes, their strengths, weaknesses at school, areas they need support in at home and at school, goals, etc.

Boys Basketball has their last game of the season at Riverside bus will leave at 2:30pm

Tuesday- MS Scholars Bowl at Hiawatha Middle School, rounds start at 4pm

Wednesday-

Thursday- MS Scholars Bowl at Sabetha, rounds start at 4pm

Friday- Middle School Game and Dance Night Sponsored by the Booster Club

5th and 6th Game Night- 6:30pm - 8pm

7th and 8th Dance Night - 8pm-10pm
