A Cell Phone Persepctive by Mr. Snyder
Hello Fowler Families!
We're thrilled to share that our school year has started off wonderfully! The students are happy and excited to be here, and this is my fourth year as the Assistant Principal, marking our smoothest start yet.
To ensure our Fowler community remains a safe and supportive environment for all students, we want to address some important topics. We’ve noticed an increase in the unkind use of cell phones. We understand how challenging it can be to navigate the balance of granting phone access and monitoring its use. We encourage you to consider delaying phone usage for as long as possible and to actively monitor their interactions.
We take cyber-bullying seriously, as it does not align with the positive atmosphere we strive for at Fowler. If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading "The Anxious Generation." It offers valuable insights into the impact of digital use on our children.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Here’s a link to our student handbook, with more information on cyber-bullying on page 30.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend!
