Renovation and Expansion of Aronimink Elementary School

Phase 1 of construction for the project has begun and includes the following:

  • The start of construction of the perimeter fencing.

  • The demolition of the existing tot lot and the start of construction on the new playground equipment. There will be no public access to this location.

  • Playgrounds and fields on the backside of the school (along Marvine and Roberts Avenues) remain accessible to the public at this time.

2021-2024 Comprehensive Plan

The Administration presented the District's 2021-2024 Comprehensive Plan during the June 15, 2021 Education and Pupil Services Committee meeting. Parents were invited to send questions or comments regarding the plan to the Administration by July 15, 2021. The Plan is up for a vote at the August 10th Board meeting.

Bid Award for Office Renovation at 8201 N. Lansdowne Ave - Approved

Construction bids have been accepted for the renovation of the district’s property at 8201 N. Lansdowne Ave. This will allow the District Administration to eventually move out of the space at Aronimink Elementary School, freeing up much-needed classroom space and providing a centralized location for families to access central office administration. In addition, this will result in improved facilities for our Transportation Department and removal of the township sanitation department from the site. Click here to view the Bid Award.

Upcoming Board Meetings

Upcoming School Board meetings will be held virtually until September 2021. July and August meetings will be livestreamed to the District's YouTube Channel. In-person Board meetings will begin in September. Do you have a question or comment? Click HERE to learn how to participate. Click HERE to view the 2021-2022 meeting schedule.
