ORES Newsletter
February 17, 2023
Dear Oak Ridge Families,
We celebrated 100 days of school and Valentine's Day on Tuesday. We had several 100 day projects and costumes brought in that made for a fun day!
Our FFA students are hosting an FFA breakfast for the community on Monday, February 20th. Come out and enjoy visiting with our FFA students. Elementary students will be participating in FFA week with a petting zoo on Friday during school. You can also visit the petting zoo after school from 3:30PM-5:00PM.
Remember, there will be no school this coming Monday, February 20th, for staff or students.
Come and join the fun on February 27th @ 5:30PM for the ORES Title 1 Family Fun Night! We will have food, games, and prizes as well as tips and tricks for helping your child with reading and math. Students that have a parent sign in will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Walmart gift card. Two gift cards will be given away.
If you or your child needs assistance with school supplies or other resources, please let me know as we have access to resources to help you.
Have a restful weekend with family!
Sincerely,
Sonia Wood
