Pepin Academies New Port Richey

Neptune's News
Good evening,
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who are part of the Pepin staff and our students’ families. We celebrate and appreciate all that you do each and every day.
May is a busy month in the world of education. We continue with state assessments, course finals, and end-of-year projects. With grades closing in just a few short weeks, please remind your child(ren) to submit any incomplete or missing assignments as soon as possible.
We have many exciting upcoming events, and we want all students to be eligible to participate. This Thursday, we will be hosting our End-of-the-Year Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) Celebration for all grade levels. The High School High Tech Awards will also be held that day. On Friday, our seniors will head to Universal Studios in Orlando for their Senior Trip. Thanks to the generosity of Ms. Morris’ Falcon Fighters fund, our graduates will enjoy an unforgettable day filled with fun, laughter, and lasting memories.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the kindness, love, and support shown to me by both staff and students on Principal’s Day. It truly meant so much.
Have a wonderful week!
Kathy
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STUDENTS
STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
Thank you to our students, their families, Pepin First, and the Pepin Family Foundation for the incredible recognition and appreciation shown throughout the week. It truly was a wonderful celebration!
We ate… and then we ate again… and then we ate some more. There is no doubt our staff’s clothing fits just a little snugger this week—and it was absolutely worth it.
Our PTO, Pepin First, generously provided Eistein bagels, yogurt, Publix subs, chips, drinks, cheesecake bites from Cheesecake Chicks, and a baked potato bar with potatoes graciously supplied by Outback Steakhouse. Administration treated the staff to pizza and salad, salty and sweet snacks, ice cream sundaes, and a delicious cooked breakfast featuring pancakes, sausage, eggs, cheesy hashbrown casserole, and sausage gravy with biscuits. Our culinary students also prepared a fresh and delicious fruit salad.
The Pepin Family Foundation surprised our staff with a comforting meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese from the Publix at Golden Acres.
Handwritten notes, personally created cards and gifts, and plenty of hugs from our students were truly the icing on the cake.
We are so grateful for the continued love, support, and generosity shown to our staff. 💙
CELEBRATE OUR AMAZING TEACHERS!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4 - 8, 2026
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re inviting families to join together in showing our gratitude through GiftCrowd, an easy and thoughtful way to contribute to a group gift for your child’s teachers and staff. With GiftCrowd, each contribution—no matter the amount—adds up to a meaningful gift that teachers can redeem for the item or experience they’ll truly enjoy. No need to shop, wrap, or guess their favorite store!
How it works:
• Select the teachers or staff you’d like to contribute to
• Add a personal message (optional but appreciated!)
• The link will remain open through Wednesday, May 13
• Staff will be notified of their gifts on Thursday, May 14
Let’s come together to make our staff feel as valued and celebrated as they truly are!
ALTHOUGH THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR LOTTERY IS COMPLETE, YOU CAN STILL APPLY!
That's right, you aren't too late to fill out an application for the 2026 - 2027 school year. If your child has an IEP, go ahead and complete an application for them using the Click Here button above. Now that the lottery is over, students will be added to their grade-level waitlists in the order they applied.
Families seeking placement for a student not already enrolled at Pepin Academies NPR should use the link above. Remember, currently enrolled students DO NOT need to reapply.
