Cookie Corner with Mrs. Myers 🍪

Students listened to the story, I'm Sorry You Got Mad, and explored reasons it was hard for the main character to apologize to a friend. Students learned how to apologize and how to accept an apology, then practiced scenario questions with each other. Great job 2nd Graders!👏

• Small Gestures: Hold doors open, offer smiles, or help peers with schoolwork, draw a picture for someone.
• Chores: Encourage helping with household chores, such as setting the table or clearing items, taking out the trash.
• Kind Words: Encourage giving compliments or making cards for friends and family.
• Time & Attention: Encourage playing with someone who is alone or listening to a friend. Spend time with a younger sibling.
