Girls on the Run

We are excited to offer Girls on the Run again this fall! Girls on the Run is an after-school program that focuses on the connection between girls' physical and emotional health. The program teaches girls important life skills all while they train for a 5K!

Coaches work with students twice a week for ten weeks using targeted lessons and physical activity to instill confidence and compassion in each girl. Our team will meet Mondays & Wednesdays after school starting on September 25th. Transportation is not provided. Students can register for either team 1 or 2 (we will still be one team!).

Spots are limited! For more information and to register, view the flyer below or click here. Questions or need financial assistance? Contact Kristin Dunnigan at kdunnigan@glnd.k12.va.us.

Watch Dogs (Dads of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative that brings positive male role models into schools. As an official BES Watch Dog, you will spend time volunteering in your student’s classroom.

Sign up HERE. ALL volunteers will need to complete a background check before volunteering.

Please notify the office about transportation changes via email at: beseagles@glnd.k12.va.us.

If you have daily transportation needs, please make sure you provide changes at the beginning of each week for the entire week. This allows staff time to communicate all necessary changes and avoids confusion when a call is not received. We appreciate your support.
