Dear PV Eagle Families:

I hope you and your family are enjoying a relaxing summer break and taking time to recharge and have some fun!

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Colleen Sempek into her new role as Assistant Principal at Prairie View. Mrs. Sempek is moving from her position as a seventh-grade math teacher and team leader to the Assistant Principal position at Prairie View. We know her experience, leadership, and dedication to our students will make her an excellent addition to our administrative team.

We also wish Mr. John Conley all the best as he begins his new position as Principal of Fernway Park Elementary School. We will certainly miss him at Prairie View, but we are excited for this next chapter in his career. He will be an outstanding principal!

Our staff is working hard this summer to prepare for the return of our students in August. We are excited for your student(s) to arrive on August 20th. Please be sure to review the other important upcoming dates listed below.

Students' schedules will be released on Infinite Campus on August 3, 2026. We have scheduled the Walkthrough for August 5th from 9:00 am to noon and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. At this time, you will receive a packet with a hard copy of your student’s schedule and other forms, including the order form for Hot Lunch.

In the spring, the Team Leaders worked very hard to schedule students in a schedule that best meets their needs. Please do not contact the office to change your student's schedule so that they can be with a certain student or students. We have done our best to make sure that everyone is properly placed.

Enjoy the rest of your summer! We look forward to welcoming our students back on Thursday, August 20th for the first day of school.

Save the Date! MS Walkthrough

We look forward to welcoming our students and families to our Middle School Walkthrough on Wednesday, August 5. You can stop by anytime between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

The walkthrough is a great opportunity to get ready for the new school year. Students and their families can locate their classrooms and lockers, purchase locks, gym uniforms, spirit wear, and pick up pre-ordered school supply kits.

Please note that students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the building during the walkthrough.

We hope you'll join us on August 5 as we prepare for another great school year together. If you have any questions before the walkthrough, please don't hesitate to contact our school office. We can't wait to welcome everyone back!

Student Classroom Assignments, Schedules, and Transportation Information Released on August 3

Elementary classroom assignments, middle school student schedules, and transportation information will be released via Infinite Campus Parent Portals at 8:00 am on Monday, August 3.

If you need assistance with your parent portal, please contact your school office.

Looking Ahead: Key Dates in August 2026

Important August dates to mark on your calendar:

Monday, August 3 - Elementary classroom assignments, middle school student schedules, and transportation information released via Infinite Campus Parent Portals. Please contact your school office if you need assistance with your parent portal login.
Wednesday, August 5 - Middle School Student/Parent Walkthrough for Students/Parents from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The walkthrough provides an opportunity to purchase locks, gym suits, and spirit wear, and pick up pre-ordered school supply kits.
Monday, August 17 - Kindergarten Roundup from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Bannes, Fernway, Keller, McAuliffe, and Millennium. This is a special time for families to meet their principal and teachers and learn everything they'll need to know about the first day of school. Please join us!
Tuesday, August 18 - Open House at Elementary Schools for EC, Preschool, and K-5 families from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. This year, our elementary Open House will take place two days before the first day of school. Be sure to mark your calendar so you don't miss it.
Tuesday, August 18 - Teacher Institute Day - No School
Wednesday, August 19 - Teacher Institute Day - No School
Thursday, August 20 - First Day of School for All Students (EC - 8) - Elementary school students will attend school from 7:55 am to 2:25 pm. Middle school students will attend school from 8:40 am to 3:07 pm.
Monday, August 24 - Middle School Open House from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
