First grade students at Paine Elementary School enjoyed an engaging and educational field trip to Old Baker Farm. The visit provided hands-on learning experiences that connected directly to classroom instruction.

Students observed baby animals, shucked corn, and explored where food comes from. They also planted sunflower seeds, reinforcing their understanding of how plants grow and change over time.

Throughout the trip, students demonstrated curiosity and strong observation skills, making it a meaningful real-world learning experience—plus a lot of fun.
