Jarrell ISD Monday Memo
October 27, 2025
Cougars,
As one community, our goal is to build strong, supportive relationships with our families, staff, students, business owners, and stakeholders. When we come together, great things happen. Our Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO) and new Attendance Zone Committee are two examples of how parents and community members can partner with the district to create meaningful change.
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a significant role in supporting our teachers and campuses! Last week, the district met with the leaders of the campus PTOs. We do this several times during the school year to collaborate on events, recruit more members, and explore how the PTO and the district can make our campuses stronger for both teachers and students.
PTOs help fund programs, classroom materials, and events that make learning fun and engaging for every student. Ultimately, the organizations create opportunities for parents, teachers, and students to connect — from family nights and school events to volunteer projects that make everyone feel welcome.
Every fundraiser, meeting, and project led by the PTO helps build a stronger, more connected community — one where everyone has a place and every child can succeed.
View our website to learn more about our PTOs and how you can get involved.

Attendance Zone Committee
Jarrell ISD is growing, and with that growth comes the need to review our school attendance zones. Berry Creek Elementary School will open its doors next school year. The campus will be our fourth elementary school. To ensure we have the most effective attendance zones, we are forming a committee made up of parents, community members, staff, and stakeholders.
This committee will play an important role in reviewing enrollment trends, evaluating school capacity, and providing input on attendance zone changes as our district continues to grow. If you would like to see the process or serve on the committee, please review the timeline below. You can sign up by filling out the form. The deadline is November 3, 2025.
Thank you for helping us plan for the future of Jarrell ISD — together, we’re building a stronger community for every student.
